This rugged landscape shows mountains rising majestically, getting lost in the hazy clouds above. Lush valleys flow down with light and shadow emphasising the dramatic contours of the terrain. The weathered, incised and textured rock formations in the foreground tell their stories of time and the elements. High above, the sky is alive with strong, swirling clouds driven by wild winds that give it a dynamic quality. This waxy landscape captures a sense of movement and energy reflecting the breathtaking beauty of nature.
The surface of this painting has some texture on the foreground rocks, which makes it tactile. The edges of this piece are finished with the distinctive ‘shou sugi ban’ charred wood.
Note: This piece is unframed with no suspension on the reverse, so that you can mount it to suit your room décor.

International orders will be shipped will be shipped with FedEx Tracked. I will contact you to confirm shipping rates once your order has been placed.
RETURNS
Gill wants you to be happy with your artwork. But if for any reason you aren’t, you can return it within 14 days of delivery, undamaged, for a refund (minus any shipping costs). Artwork must be sent back by tracked delivery in its original packaging or packaged securely and is your responsibility until it arrives.
Unfortunately, commissioned pieces of art cannot be returned.
